Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy can be a place to share what is on your mind in a safe, non-judgmental space. Exploring feelings on your own can feel intimidating. Talking and creating with a supportive therapist can open doors to new perspectives and insights you haven’t thought of before.
Grief therapy can also be beneficial when you are grieving. This may be a new experience for you! Exploring our losses can help us to feel connected to the deceased, honor our person who has died, and learn how to cope with our grief.

Have you ever had a feeling or thought and not known how to verbalize it? Art therapy allows creativity to be your voice. You do not need to be an artist to do art therapy! Any skill level is welcome.
Please note: Art Therapy is not about learning art techniques, rather it is about using the art materials to explore how it makes you feel.
